Royalty payments Academic royalty payments to authors are calculated at 25% of the publisher’s net receipts. Royalties are paid on all channel and publisher sales and authors can also purchase copies at a discount rate of up to 50%. Finished books abramis books are professionally published in a range of formats, including hardback, paperback and case-bound, and are printed to order utilising facilities in both the UK and US. Distribution abramis has an international distribution network which includes Gardners and Bertrams in the UK and Ingram and Baker & Taylor in the US.Titles are also placed with on-line retailers including both amazon.com and amazon.co.uk. Submission requirements When submitting proposals it is helpful to include the following information: working title, target market, statement of aims, synopsis, review of competing titles, promotional opportunities, author details, target publication date.
